Also added to the catalog are Switchfoot’s Dare You To Move; REM’s Losing My

Jet’s Are You Gonna Be My Girl was featured on their 2003 album, Get Born.
iVideosongs shows how to play Are You Gonna Be My Girl’s challenging bass line,
including a left hand muting technique and its syncopated rhythms. Otis Redding
recorded (Sittin’ On) the Dock of the Bay on the 1968 album of the same name. The
iVideosongs title for this R&B classic is very approachable, even for
beginning-level players.

Bon Jovi recorded Wanted Dead or Alive on the 1986 album, Slippery When Wet. This
iVideosongs title shows beginning-level players how to play the complete bass line
of the song and demonstrates the best neck position to achieve the Bon Jovi tone.
Dare You to Move is a modern hit from Switchfoot’s 2005 album, The Beautiful
Letdown. It’s also a title well suited to beginning-level players, showing
instruction for the complete song and a thorough explanation of rhythm and
technique.

Losing My Religion was the monster hit from REM’s 1991 album Out of Time. This
iVideosongs title shows how to play the bass line to create a hook over just a few
chords. Kansas debuted Carry On Wayward Son on their 1975 album, Leftoverture.

Steely Dan recorded Rikki Don’t Lose That Number on the 1974 album, Pretzel Logic.

bass lines, which make use of much of the fret board. Hit Me With Your Best Shot,
from Pat Benatar’s 1980 album, Crimes of Passion, features the complete bass part
from this rock radio hit.
